Please help to promote the Week (and your events)

So, you’ve done the difficult bit and uploaded your event to the website at www.creativityandwellbeing.org.uk…what happens next?

Thanks for including your event in Creativity and Wellbeing Week. We will be doing all we can to make people aware of your events but here’s what you can do...

We want everyone to get the most out of being part of London Creativity and Wellbeing Week and Creativity and Wellbeing Plus and the more buzz and interest we can generate around all our activities the better.  The success of the Week depends on all of us! We’ve tried to act on some of the feedback we got last year and hope that the Week will offer a real platform for you, a showcase for arts and health, and an opportunity for people working in this area to get together and celebrate all the good stuff that is going on all year round.

Depending on the type of event you are holding, the scale of your organisation and how much you have already done in producing publicity materials, press releases or other accompanying material some of the suggestions below may not be feasible for you – so please feel free to pick and choose whichever elements you would find helpful from the options below – anything you can do will help!

Please use the London Creativity and Wellbeing Week logo on your website or printed materials.  If you are using this online, please link to www.creativityandwellbeing.org.uk (or directly to your event if you prefer).   If you can’t fit in a logo, please use text such as “This event is part of the London Creativity and Wellbeing Week 2017”.

If you already have a mailing list please use it to promote your events and include a link to www.creativityandwellbeing.org.uk.  Please encourage your venues and partners who have their own lists to do the same.

We will be promting the week as a whole, if you have local media contacts please do send them details about the Week or just send some images of your work to your local paper. The Week is a good hook for them to hang a story on and to get individual organisations coverage.

“Like” us at www.facebook.com/LAHFArtsHealth and share your Creativity and Wellbeing Week experiences – about your events, or others you attend with your friends and colleagues – share our posts with your friends and we’ll do the same in return.  Tweet using and follow us at @LAHFArtsHealth. Encourage your friends, family and neighbours to do the same!

In the Week

The Opening and Closing events have been designed with event organisers in mind. Our hope is that they will provide really good networking opportunities and a chance to meet each other and supporters of this type of work. We are inviting funders, patrons and champions to these events, along with a number of arts organisations we think would make good partners for arts in health organisations. There should be plenty of time to mingle and make connections and we hope that you will take advantage of this. We hope that you will be able to come to both events. If you don’t know anyone, then come and find one of the LAHF team and ask to be introduced to some people! It’s important for us, that you get the most possible out of the Week and we hope these networking opportunities will work for you. Remember, both of these events are ticketed so do book your places.
