Please help to promote the Week (and your events)
So, you’ve done the difficult bit and uploaded your event to the website at www.creativityandwellbeing.org.uk…what happens next?
Please help us to promote the Week (and all your events)!
We want everyone to get the most out of being part of London Creativity and Wellbeing Week and the more buzz and interest we can generate around all our activities the better. The success of the Week depends on all of us!
Depending on the type of event you are holding, the scale of your organisation and how much you have already done in producing publicity materials, press releases or other accompanying material some of the suggestions below may not be feasible for you – so please feel free to pick and choose whichever elements you would find helpful from the options below – anything you can do will help!
Use the logo and add a link!
Please use the London Creativity and Wellbeing Week logo on your website or printed materials. If you are using this online, please link to www.creativityandwellbeing.org.uk (or directly to your event if you prefer). If you can’t fit in a logo, by all means just use text such as “This event is part of the London Creativity and Wellbeing Week 2012”.
Click here to download a web quality logo (right click and choose "save link as" or similar) (if you need print quality or other formats please email info@lahf.org.uk and we'll do our best to help!)
You can also download a poster version of the brochure cover here at A3 size - which you can print out and use to promote the Week wherever you can! Click on the image to download the file!
Email your contacts
If you already have a mailing list please use it to promote your events and include a link to www.creativityandwellbeing.org.uk. Please encourage your venues and partners who have their own lists to do the same.
Join the discussions on Facebook and Twitter
“Like” us at www.facebook.com/LAHFArtsHealth and share your Creativity and Wellbeing Week experiences – about your events, or others you attend with your friends and colleagues – share our posts with your friends and we’ll do the same in return. Tweet using #LCW and follow us at @LAHFArtsHealth.
Encourage your Board members, patrons, partner organisations and anyone else who believes in your organisation to do the same!
Blog about it
Do you have a blog you regularly update where you can promote your event? Do any colleagues, members, service users or friends write a blog where they may be able to promote what you are planning? Make the most of any contacts you have as blogs are a great way to get your event and the Week as a whole noticed. Do let us know what appears and we’ll do our best to spread the links further still.
Check out the dedicated blog at www.creativityandwellbeing.org.uk/blog. This is where you can tell people visiting the site more about your work all year round, the other events you have coming up, or the other fantastic projects that you are working on. Also don’t forget to post any images, updates, case studies or other information about your event. After the Week too, please share your photos or thoughts about the process there too. We’ll add links to your post from your event and vice versa as well.
To add an entry to the blog
If you already have login details for the site (from uploading your events) please use these to login at www.creativityandwellbeing.org.uk/user. You’ll then see an option on the top left to “add content” – click on this, followed by “blog entry” and off you go!
If you don’t already have an account you can sign up for one on the same page, but please note this not automated and a human will have to approve your account before you can get blogging. If you can’t wait, please email what you want to say to us at info@lahf.org.uk and we’ll do the rest (though it may take us a while if you all choose this option...)
