About the event

Featuring a performance from the St Christopher’s community choir and band and an exhibition of art works, this event is inspired by St Christopher’s most recent partnership project with the Royal Academy of Arts: ‘Celebrating life, death and legacy’.

This event is an opportunity to share work created within the context of the St Christopher’s arts groups and Social Programme which consists of a series of weekly arts and music-based social events or activities. Hospice patients, families, carers, volunteers, staff and members of the local community used a range of different arts media to explore the arc of life from birth through to death. This led into the creation of a series of ‘triptychs’ (3-part pictures), of the video project “Birth: Origins at the end of life” (led by artist Whitney McVeigh & curator Eiko Honda) as well as other art products, all of which will be presented on this event.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
