This event is aimed at people over 50. All our films are subtitled so they are D/deaf and hard of hearing-friendly. This is a dementia-friendly screening so the lights will stay on and people are encouraged to chat, to move around and to come and go as they please. You can can come for just one short film (1 -20 minutes) or stay for 10 of them. It's up to you! The venue is a house sitting room so numbers are limited to 15 people at any one time. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis.

About the event

In a Walthamstow sitting room join us to watch a programme of short films celebrating older women on both sides of the camera. Come for 1 or 2 films or stay for them all. The films are between 1 and 20 minutes long. This screening is dementia-friendly. The lights will be up and chatting is encouraged! Come & go as you please. All the short films are subtitled and are D/deaf and hard of hearing-friend.ly All the short films feature a woman over 50 at the heart of them on screen or a woman over 50 as the writer, producer or director. The films are animation, documentary, drama, comedy and experimental.
