About the event

After a second sold-out Connect event last year, Paintings in Hospitals and London Arts in Health Forum are back with even more networking goodness. Join us, and lots of other brilliant arts and health professionals, at Connect 2017.

Whether you’re interested in seeking out new collaborations or inspiration from people outside your usual peer group, come along and enjoy an evening of conversation, drinks and nibbles amidst two very exciting exhibitions from Paintings in Hospitals.

We’ll invite leading thinkers, researchers, clinical commissioners, artists and more. All you need to do is turn up, take part, and see what we can achieve when we put our heads together.

Speakers include:

Sally-Anne Donaldson, Founder of Creative Homes and Director of Tea Dance for Little People

Dr Val Huet, Chief Executive Officer of the British Association of Art Therapists and board member of London Arts in Health Forum

Julian West, Head of Open Academy at the Royal Academy of Music, and member of the core team of Created Out Of Mind, an interdisciplinary group invited by Wellcome Trust to take up the 2016-18 residency in The Hub at Wellcome Collection, aiming to explore, challenge and shape perceptions and understanding of dementias through science and the creative arts.
