The Joy of Sound (JOS) is an award winning grassroots volunteer led organisation that promotes social inclusion through music and creative arts workshops, themed events and outreach activities.

During London Creativity and Wellbeing Week 2014, JOS will be running two Participatory Inclusive Music Workshops, and an Inclusive and Combined Arts All-day Event. These sessions are open to all-comers of all abilities. see <> for info and updates.

JOS Inclusive Music Workshops are vibrant and joyful participatory happenings that demonstrate JOS improvisational  approaches based in the ‘Human Idiomatic’. All JOS workshops - unless otherwise stated - are public and open to all comers of all abilities, using JOS award winning approaches facilitated by JOS Inclusive Volunteer team and associates.

Using a variety of combined arts and music methods towards the building of personal and social resilience and wellbeing, JOS workshops are noted for being hearty and uplifting. No previous experience is required, though an open and social temprement is helpful. Please enquire in advance of attendance if you have any doubts as to your suitability. Everyone is welcome.

JOS also design and use especially designed and bespoke instruments and equipment that can help to facilitate participants of all abilities to enter into processes as co-creators.
