About the event

Did you know that ten minutes of laughter has the same effect on the body as thirty minutes on a rowing machine! How many times have you laughed lately? Join Laughter Coach Eva Provedel at Claremont Project for a session of uplifting joy. Laughter Yoga combines laughter exercises and simple breathing techniques performed as a form of exercise. Participants will be informed further on what Laughter Yoga is, do guided breathing exercises, take part in laughter games and laughter meditation. The workshop will conclude with guided relaxation similar to a mini "yoga nidra". Physical benefits of Laughter Yoga include a strengthened immune system, regulation of blood pressure, higher self-esteem and increased creativity and focus.
