About the event

2-5pm Making is Connecting

Inspired by recent research linking working with our hands and personal and social wellbeing London Bubble are planning to throw open their workshop to the local community.

But which movement to join? Is this going to be a Men’s Shed, a Community Makespace or a Hackspace – all models that are thriving in other parts of the country.

And how does this link to theatre – or even art?

Representatives from the Association of Men’s Sheds UK, members of the Hackney Hackspace and Michael Breakey, resident artist/maker at the Bubble, will consider our workshop space and lead an open discussion about how to get started (and we might even make things while chatting).
