About the event

For many years, arts programmes have been enhancing patients’ experience in hospital. Alongside improving hospital environments, the arts are changing the way people are treated in hospital and influence recovery. This national showcase will offer an insight into some of the ways the arts can enhance the 21st Century hospital.

This event is part of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Arts, Health and Wellbeing’s inquiry into arts and health and is held in conjunction with a roundtable in the Houses of Parliament exploring the role of arts in hospitals.

Speakers: The Rt Hon. the Lord Howarth of Newport CBE, Sir Quentin Blake.
