About the event

Mind Yourself work to improve the health and wellbeing of the Irish community in London. For Creativity and Wellbeing Week, we'll be opening our doors for the Irish community with the following events:

TUESDAY 3rd JUNE: As we Irish know, singing is a great pastime that is good for the body and soul. You don't have to be a good singer and you won't have to sing on your own. If you'd like to give singing a go in a welcoming and friendly environment, come along to our open choir rehearsal as part of Creativity and Wellbeing Week.

WEDNESDAY 4th JUNE: Would you like to be more creative but you're not sure how to do it? If you've never given anything creative a go but would like to learn how to unlock your own creativity, come along to this one-off seminar on 'The Artist's Way' by Julia Cameron. Our members will have completed our in-house course and will be there to talk about how it has impacted their lives and helped them to become more creative.

FRIDAY 6th JUNE: Come along to our screening and discussion of the Roddy Doyle novel-turned-screenplay, The Snapper. Does the film accurately portray the struggles of pregnancy out of wedlock in rural Ireland or has Doyle got it all wrong? Come along and tell us what you think.

If you'd like to find out more about any of the events above, then please contact us on 020 7354 5248 or email You can also check out our website here:
