About the event

 

Royal College of Music students Joo Yeon Sir and Natsumi Ikenaga will be performing in Claremont as part of our Summer Concert Series.  

British-Korean violinist, Joo Yeon Sir, is an experienced performer with a particular interest in Russian and British repertoire. She has performed extensively throughout the UK and abroad in venues including St. James' Palace in the presence of HRH Prince of Wales. Joo Yeon has received numerous prizes such as Grand Prix Laureate at Nedyalka Simeonova International Violin Competition in Bulgaria and BBC/Guardian Young Composer of the Year.

Japanese pianist Natsumi Ikenaga is currently studying for a Master of Music in Performance at the Royal College of Music with Dina Parakhina. Natsumi has performed in many international venues, including the Mirabel Palace in Salzburg, Steinway Halls in New York and London, National Gallery, and the Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall.
